Laxtopia Question: Has East Coast lacrosse fallen behing to the West ?

I was at the Tri State National Lacrosse tournament in Southern NJ this past weekend and I couldn’t help but notice all the teams not from the East Coast.  California, Minnesota, Utah, Colorado, Ohio, etc     Now having several kids that have played high level lax ( Northern NJ) I realized that even though East Coast lacrosse still seems like a higher level, I did notice that the other states , especially from out west and Texas have made huge improvements.  It’s a big country out there, which means it’s basically NJ, NY, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania against the other states in the Union.  So my question is this..Has the East Coast level of lacrosse drawn even to that of the rest of the country ? I’m dying to hear the comments.

Tri-State National @ Mercer County Park NJ this weekend ! Who played great ? What teams won ?

Despite losing Friday night to rain and thunderstorms , the rest of the weekend (especially Saturday), was filled with awesome lacrosse. Who was there ? I couldn’t be on all fields at once …So tell the LAXTOPIA family…What teams played well ? What players stood out ? What states are really moving forward ? Any new brands ?
